Innovative rotary cutting technology
The RSM410 IML is a compact, high-performance rotary cutting and punching machine specifically designed for the processing of labels, tickets and packaging. It combines maximum precision, long service life and easy operation for cost-efficient production.
Schobertechnologies develops and manufactures the most powerful machines worldwide for the production of in-mould labels for medium and small production volumes. The new, revolutionary VARICUT hybrid drive technology enables the combination of continuous and intermittent operations during the cutting process. Thanks to this innovative technology, a wide range of different cutting sizes can be covered easily and efficiently with just one tool.

Proven rotary cutting technology
The modern rotary cutting machine is characterized by the use of a proven rotary cutting technology. The use of high-precision and long-life magnetic cylinders can guarantee an optimal and safe holding force of the cutting plate.
The magnetic cylinders, built into high-performance cutting units, are equipped with:
- Preset pressure settings
- High-precision bearings and bearing blocks
- Gap Control System for accurate wear compensation of the cutting edge
- Centrally located quick lift from the magnetic cylinder to the impression cylinder (without loss of register)
New generation of hybrid drive technology (VARICUT)
The revolutionary VARICUT drive technology captivates by combining continuous and intermittent sequences during the cutting process. The whole process takes place in the in-setting mode, always in register with the print. This means that a wide range of print formats can be covered with a single scope of tools.
Vacuum controlled product run
The RSM machine has a full-surface vacuum belt for transporting the cut IML labels. The use of a multi-vacuum chamber system ensures better product handling and means that no further adjustments are required for product contour/arrangement or material grammage changes.
Safe and efficient product handling (Spider)
The use of robotization and automation results in absolutely safe and efficient product handling. The automated delivery is built to stack different products with the same print image.
- In case of nesting of print images or a combination of very long/large and small products with different dimensions to maximize material usage
- Continuous web speed of up to 50 m/min
- Specific pick & place plates
- Different product types and shapes are picked up safely at synchronized speeds and stacked non-stop in a dual pile box system
Optimal protection through antistatic
The antistatic device ensures that high voltages are safely discharged through the targeted use of discharge electrodes. In this way, electrostatic discharges are reliably avoided regardless of the material and process speed.
Reduce set-up time, save material
Save material, protect resources: Automatic re-registration during reel changes saves material in the production process. In addition, setup times of the slitter are significantly reduced.

Cutting and stacking nested products
With web widths of up to 1,000 mm, format lengths of up to 1,220 mm, and processing speeds of up to 100 m/min, this system enables high-performance and precise processing of cut-to-size sheets. Reliable continuous operation, automatic register control, and an intuitive control panel ensure maximum efficiency and process reliability. Thanks to Twin-Sider technology, particularly gentle and efficient product handling is also guaranteed. Additional stations for needling, grooving, and embossing are available as options.
The Varicut platform is the ideal solution for small runs and quick format changes.
